🧘♀️From Busy to Full
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and let it go.
One more breath—deeper this time… and release.Feel your feet on the ground.
Feel your body supported.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
You are not behind.
You are here—right where you need to be right now - and that is enough.Breathe in: “My life is spacious.”
Breathe out: “I choose what matters.”
Again: “My life is spacious.”
And: “I choose what matters.”One more time on your own.
Let that settle into your body… and when you’re ready, gently return.
-
Let’s be honest—these phrases might sound familiar:
“I’m so busy.”
“My plate is just too full.”
“Life is crazy right now!”
“I am swamped.”
But what if instead you could say:
“I have space for what matters most.”
“My time is aligned with my values.”
“I move through my days with clarity and calm.”
Busyness isn’t just about a packed schedule—it’s often a symptom of something deeper:
✔ A badge of honor
✔ A distraction from harder emotions
✔ A coping mechanism for fear
✔ A way to feel in control
✔ An identity we don’t know how to step away fromWe’re not here to shame busyness—but we are here to reclaim our agency in how we move through life.

You can use these prompts to continue the work on your own or with a journal.
What’s actually on your plate right now?
List what’s taking up your time and energy.
Circle the non-negotiables.
Star the “shoulds” that could be released.
Cross off 1–3 things you’re ready to let go of.
Why do you stay busy?
Is it status, distraction, avoidance, control, or identity?
What would slowing down bring up for you?
What’s one way you can shift from 'busy' to 'full' today?
Say no to something that doesn’t align with your values
Block off white space on your calendar
Replace “I have to” with “I get to”
What’s your Time Trade?
Cross off one thing that drains you.
Replace it with something that restores you.
Repeat: “I trade busyness for balance. My life is happening for me, not to me.”
