1-Minute Exercise:
Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. Imagine yourself waking up in the morning, filled with a sense of purpose and joy. Feel the air filling your lungs, grounding you in this moment. Visualize a glowing light within you, representing something meaningful and fulfilling to you. With each inhale, see it grow brighter, expanding to touch on your unique gifting and expertise. With each exhale, release any tension or distraction, allowing yourself to settle fully into the present.
As this light expands, feel it connecting you with something greater than yourself—an unshakable foundation of peace, wisdom, and purpose. Let it radiate outward, a reminder of the positive impact you can make simply by being who you are.
Breathe deeply, letting this sense of alignment and balance grow within you. If any thoughts or worries arise, acknowledge them and gently set them aside, knowing you can return to them later. For now, give yourself the gift of presence.
While your eyes are still closed, allow yourself to soften—your shoulders, your jaw, your hands. Feel the space around you holding and supporting you. Now, when you're ready, slowly open your eyes, bringing this clarity, ease, and focus with you into our session. -
Ikigai. This is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to "a reason for being" or "a reason to wake up in the morning." It represents the idea that happiness and fulfillment in life come from finding a balance between four key elements: Passion, Expertise, Mission, and Vocation.

-
Element 1: What Lights You Up? (Passion)
What activities make you lose track of time because you enjoy them so much?
What did you love to do as a child or teenager?
What brings you joy, even if you don’t get paid for it?
Element 2: Your Superpowers (Expertise)
What do you do effortlessly that others find challenging?
What do people often come to you for advice or help with?
What skills or knowledge have you gained through experience or training?
Element 3: What the World Needs (Mission)
What problems in the world are you passionate about solving?
What would you do to make the world a better place if you had unlimited resources?
What stories or causes deeply move you?
Element 4: The Moneymaker (Vocation)
What services or products could you offer that people would pay for?
What careers or opportunities align with your skills and passions?
How can you connect your joy and expertise with the needs of others?
