Checking In (Heart Images)
We are talking about the importance of checking in with ourselves, dropping into our heart space to just get in touch with how we “feel”. We are going to use these fun heart images (SEE BELOW) as a tool to connect with how we’re feeling!
So why does it matter to do this? Because it helps us…stay connected to ourselves in our crazy, busy full lives. When we are aware of our feelings, we can respond and more clear ways that align with our needs, helps us be more present, grounded, and authentic in the way that we live. It’s about building awareness and taking moments throughout the day to tune into our own emotional state.
Key benefits of regular emotional check-ins:
Awareness: Gives us a deeper understanding of our needs and responses.
Emotional Balance: Helps us regulate emotions, reducing stress and overwhelm.
Better Decision-Making: When we know how we feel, we’re more likely to TRUST OURSELVES to make choices that align with our well-being.
Self-Compassion: Regular check-ins remind us to give ourselves grace, care, and attention.
