So Many Good Things
In this Motion session, we explored how overwhelm often comes not from life being hard, but from life being full – full of good options, meaningful opportunities, supportive resources, and well-intentioned commitments. When everything feels like a good choice, it can be difficult to discern where our energy truly belongs.
We talked about how having access to so many tools, classes, books, and practices can quietly pull us out of alignment when our yeses become scattered. Even good things can become heavy when they no longer match the season we are in.
A key theme of this conversation was intentional discernment – recognizing that clarity isn’t about doing more, but about choosing better. As we grow and change, our priorities and capacity shift. What felt aligned at the beginning of the year may need to be revisited now, and that is both normal and wise.
We discussed the importance of letting our calendars tell the truth about what matters most. When our time and energy reflect our current intentions, life feels lighter, more focused, and more honest. This work is not about judging past choices or cutting things abruptly, but about creating space for what truly supports us right now.
